3 is the magic number for oscar g.

Miami tribal king Oscar G. is preparing to unleash a three-disc package via Nervous Records on Aug. 11. The unique release, titled DJ, features an artist album, a mix-CD and a DVD. Mr. G. has also partnered up with Stryke to launch a label, Three-O-Five Digital, which is releasing the "Made In Miami EP."

Of the Nervous package, label president Michael Weiss states: The reality of plummeting CD sales, and increased closures of music stores makes it increasingly difficult to justify the expense of producing interesting, high quality physical CD packages. But ... I'm also a fan of the DJ/producers on the roster ... The new Oscar G CD ... [is] an amazing release and I know that if we do our job and make something special, the fans will support."
