gay dance night targeted

Promoters of a gay dance night in Orange County, California say they've been targeted and shut down by police. The DJ-driven event at Lucky Strike bowling alley at The Block in the city of Orange was recently shut down by officers who say the venue lacked a necessary live entertainment permit. Cops tell the Los Angeles Times that they're not discriminating, but promoters claim that since the shut-down they've been followed by police to subsequent party locales, and that other dance events at the Lucky Strike were not shut-down.
