BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong (pictured) has joined Hollywood agent Joel Zimmerman to further the William Morris Agency's foray into music with the launch of William Morris Electronic. The endeavor will include agents in New York, London and Beverly Hills, California."This is an important next step to ensure that William Morris covers all facets of the music business around the globe," says Peter Grosslight, WMA's worldwide music chief.WME will represent such Zimmerman clients as Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, LCD Soundsystem, Basement Jazz, The Crystal Method, Steve Lawler, James Zabiela, Booka Shade, Erol Alkan, Deadmau5, Lee Burridge, M.A.N.D.Y., Dieselboy and Hercules and Love Affair.
