So you're in the desert for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival April 25-27. It's a party, so perhaps you're a little toasted, maybe even a little buzzed. And then you see blue people. Did someone slip something into your drink? Hopefully not. It's possible that you're at BPM magazine's Smurf Village in Rancho Mirage, Calif. It's a Coachella-adjacent, three-afternoon soiree celebrating the 50th anniversary of the cartoon characters and featuring Steve Aoki, Junior Sanchez, Tommie Sunsine, Steve Madden and Pase Rock on the decks. "Surprise guests" are expected as well. It's sponsored by Hpnotiq, AT&T and imeem (again with the mainstream interest) and it's invite only.
