hard luck live

A New York blogger is reporting that techno musician Matthew Dear (above) had his external hard drive, with music for his live set stored on it, stolen -- right in the middle of a performance earlier this month. Dear was celebrating his birthday with a show at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn when "suddenly he got a message on his computer saying that his hard disk drive was unplugged," writes the Brooklyn Vegan blogger. "The music stopped, he checked and found out that the drive was actually missing." (Originally spotted at Create Digital Music).
